Garland Peak
Hiked up to Garland Peak with my niece Kelcey this last weekend. The trail gets down to business right from the start and climbs pretty aggressively for the first mile until you get up to the Basalt Ridge Trail. You follow the ridge trail until you get to Peak 7349 then turn SE to Garland Peak. With the all the ups and downs, the total elevation gain is about 4000’. There were some clouds and a few breezes but all and all a good day for a hike.
