Klone peak is the highest point of this trip, almost 7000 feet  You get a good 360 degree
view of the area.  Year ago there use to be a lookout shack here, but all
that is left is a few stones for the foundation and some rotted boards.  The last
part of the trail is pretty rocky.  The trick is to just hang on and keep on the
throttle.
If you carry a 2M ham radio or even cell phone, this is the place you
can contact someone.  Kevin called his wife on the cell phone and
I talked to my dad on the 2M handheld via the Mission ridge repeater.
